Gina Rodriguez arrives at the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, CA. She wore a stunning silver gown to the event and posed on the red carpet with a smile.
Gina is best known as a television and film actress. One of her most popular roles was as Jane Villanueva on the television series ‘Jane the Virgin’ from 2014 until 2019. She has also appeared in various other television shows and films, including ‘Law & Order’, ‘Deepwater Horizon’, ‘Miss Bala’, and ‘Carmen Sandiego’.
She received a Golden Globe Award in 2015 for her work on ‘Jane the Virgin’ and has won and been nominated for numerous others awards, including the Teen Choice Awards and Critic’s Choice Awards.
Gina grew up in Chicago, IL in a Puerto Rican family and started acting as a child as well as salsa danced before going on to study theater at Columbia University. She also attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
