The Vampire Diaries star took to social media on Aug. 15 to let fans know that he’s more in love than ever, writing, “Brother @ernestoriley thanks for snapping this sweet photo of me and my better half. I am the luckiest man on earth. Literally.” Aww! In the photo, which Ian said would become his screensaver “for sure,” the married duo can be seen passionately locking lips while clad in swimwear. As if that wasn’t eye-catching enough, Nikki even flaunted her jaw-dropping diamond ring while grabbing on to her hubby’s wet hair.

Nikki and Ian are too cute! When the Twilight actress was recently asked about their plans for starting a family, she revealed to E! News, “I’m sure that’s in the cards.” So exciting! The pair tied the knot last year on April 25 and have been inseparable ever since. These two are definitely #relationshipgoals, as they still find time for each other despite their busy work schedules. Nikki has been featured on Sleepy Hollow for the last year or so and that’s on top of her impressive animal activist efforts. We can see why Ian is so infatuated by her!

Meanwhile, Ian is coming to terms with his show Vampire Diaries coming to an end after eight seasons! He was the first to announce the news when he was at Nashville’s Walker Stalker Con on April 10. Since then, the CW has confirmed the denouement of the hit series. “We have decided to do one last season to really do the story justice.” On the plus side, he’ll have more time to spend with his stunning counterpart now!
