Phew! These crazy-looking photos of Jon were — thankfully — taken on the set of his new film, Baby Driver, which was filming in Atlanta on Feb. 24, according to US Weekly. So no, the Mad Men hunk definitely still sports a full head of hair IRL. We can all rest easy now, ladies!
But a withered, balding wig is not the only thing that was different about the Emmy-award-winning actor. Jon also sported a bruised nose, a neck tattoo, and an overall sloppy look. See more photos from set here. But anything to get into character, right? And we’re curious who exactly that character is! What we do know about Jon’s role in Baby Driver, an Edgar Wright-directed film, is that he plays someone named Buddy. And, get this, the film revolves around a getaway driver who finds himself in trouble with his crime boss. Sounds exciting, right? We’re so curious to see what Jon brings to this dramatic flick.
The movie, which is set to hit theaters in March 2017 also boasts a star-studded cast complete with Lily James, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, and Ansel Elgort — just to name a few. Not going to lie, we’re pretty pumped for this film! But considering we have over a year to wait, maybe a different Jon Hamm flick can tied us over in the meantime. After all, the star has been quite busy lately.

This year alone, Jon’s set to promote three new movies: Marjorie Prime, Aardvark, and Keeping Up with the Joneses. And since his recent split from long girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt, it’s probably a good thing that he’s keeping occupied! But we’re sure the Hollywood hunk won’t be single for too much longer because come one, who can resist those luscious locks of his?!
