Laurie Hernandez smiled at the HollywoodLife studio for an EXCLUSIVE photo shoot. The star wore an off-the-shoulder top. The young star was born in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey on June 9, 2000, which makes her 18 years old currently. Laurie is known for her gymnastic skill – she competed at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil, alongside the “Final Five.” She befriended teammates Simone Biles, 22, Gabby Douglas, 23, Madison Kocian, 21, and Aly Raisman, 24, who competed with her. She has two gold medals and one silver medal from the 2016 Olympics. Her gymnastics skill was put to good use on season 23 of “Dancing with the Stars,” in which she won with partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Laurie is currently training for the 2020 Olympics, and it’s yet to be determined if she will compete in 2024, as well.
