James Franco, born April 19, 1978, is an American actor. James rose to fame with his starring role in Judd Apatow’s coming-of-age series ‘Freaks and Geeks.’ He earned wide acclaim for his performance of James Dean in the 2001 TV movie of the same name. In 2002, he took on the role of Harry Osborn in ‘Spider-Man,’ which he would reprise throughout the film’s trilogy.
The actor continued to earn acclaim for his various roles in films, including ‘Pineapple Express,’ ‘Milk,’ ‘Howl,’ and more. In 2011, he earned his first Oscar nomination for his work in the 2010 film ‘127 Hours.’ He has won two Golden Globe Awards for his work in ‘The Disaster Artist’ and ‘James Dean.’
