Priah Ferguson, 12, is the youngest of the Hawkins crew, now that the hit Netflix show ‘Stranger Things’ goes into it’s third season. Priah’s character, Erica Sinclair, because an instant fan favorite in season two, with her dry, infectious wit and sassy comebacks to her brother, Lucas, and his friends. While they fought the forces of evil battling to take over their small Indiana town, Erica provided the much needed comic relief and her catchphrase (Nerds!) quickly became one of the most quoted moments of the season. Now, Priah is a series regular, which means fans will see Erica become a much bigger part of the adventure to save the town and Lucas’ friends — and no one is more excited about that then Priah herself! The young star sat down with us for EXCLUSIVE interview and fun photo shoot to talk all about season 3 and what’s to come from everyone’s favorite little sister.
The Wildest Fan Theory She’s Heard
“The craziest fan theory that I’ve heard was when the fan said that Erica probably unleashed a rat so she could get back at her brother Lucas’ rudeness. I don’t think Erica’s that mean! It’s possible, but I really don’t think she’s that mean.”
On Doing Action Scenes in S3
“Erica is definitely put into a position where she is crawling through some small spaces, so it was really cool doing that… I got to do a little bit of action, so that was really fun.”
Erica & Lucas Relationship in S3
“Erica’s relationship with Lucas is like any annoying little sister: she gets on his nerves. She also looks up to him and she’s sad that he probably hangs out with his friends and doesn’t really show her that much attention.”
On the show’s July 4th Premiere
“I’m definitely thinking about hosting a little party. I’m going to binge watch with some of my close friends and family, so that’s what I’ll be doing on July 4th.”
