If there’s anyone who can break a soccer record, it’s Cristiano Ronaldo, 31. Along with Gareth Bale, 27, and the rest of Real Madrid, the squad will try to make La Liga history by winning their 17th straight league match. It might just happen when Villarreal roll into Real’s home turf, Santiago Bernabeu, on Sept. 21. Will Ronaldo’s new rumored bae, Desire Cordero, 23, be there to wish him good luck? This game starts at 2:00 PM ET so be ready to see every historic kick, save and goal!

Thankfully, Ronaldo and Gareth will be healthy enough to make this game. Cristiano was out with a sore throat when Real beat Espanyol, 2-0, on Sept. 18. Gareth was recovering from a hip injury he got during Real’s Champions League victory over Sporting Lisbon. Yet, both these star strikers are back. “They are both well, they trained normally and are both 100 percent,” coach Zinedine Zidane, 44, said, per Sky Sports. They’ll join Karim Benzema, 28, for the first time this season.

Villareal are hoping that the momentum from beating Real Sociedad will give them the edge against La Liga’s current champs, per AS English. Though El Submariono Amarillo (the team is legitimately nicknamed The Yellow Submarine) are no slouches.

They haven’t lost a game in La Liga this season. They did draw Sevilla and Granada, which is why they’re in 6th place. Handing Real their first La Liga loss in 2016, while snapping the 17-game streak, would catapult them up the table. Sadly, they’re already at a disadvantage, as Cedric Bakambu, 25, and Roberto Soldado, 27, are expected to sit this game out. Uh-oh. Without those offensive heavyweights, is this game already over for Villarreal?

Who do you think will win this game, HollywoodLifers? Will Real break the record and win 17 La Liga games in a row? Or will Villarreal spoil the party?
