Reese Witherspoon, born Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon on March 12, 1976, is an actress known throughout Hollywood as a consummate professional and fan favorite. Reese’s career skyrocketed to fame when she took on the lead role in ‘Legally Blonde,’ demonstrating both her comedic and dramatic prowess in the role of Elle Woods. From there, Reese went on to play the real life June Carter Cash in ‘Walk The Line,’ for which she earned her first Oscar nomination and subsequent win!
Reese earned her second Oscar nomination for the film ‘Wild’ in 2015. Reese has made the transition to TV with ease, starring in shows such as ‘Big Little Lies,’ for which she won an Emmy for her behind-the-scenes work, and ‘The Morning Show’ on Apple TV+, one of the streamers flagship series.
