‘Rolling Stone’s Women Shaping The Future Brunch
Rolling Stone hosted a beautiful event on March 21, 2019 that celebrated some of the most influential and passionate women in politics and entertainment. Called “Women Shaping The Future,” the magazine’s brunch, also hosted by the Amazon Prime show “Hanna”, brought together journalists, actresses, and singers. The attendees mingled, watched stunning performances, and listened to talks from the likes of “GMA” host Tamron Hall and Planned Parenthood head Dr. Lena Wen. It was a day to remember!
As Grace VanderWaal put it, “there are no limitations to what you do due to your gender.” Preach!

It’s so hard to believe that the incredibly talented Grace VanderWaal is only 15! Grace brought the house down with her performance during the brunch. She belted Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie” and also sang one of her originals!
She was so excited to be there, too. She adorably blurted out that she was missing school to be there. Loving the Elton John vibes we’re getting from her oversized glasses.

“Zombies” star Meg Donnelly was definitely the best dressed of the event! Meg rocked a baby pink slip with matching heels, and covered up with that fabulous robe. Can we wear pink maribou every day, or is that too much?

Colbie Caillat went western chic to the brunch, hitting the white carpet in a suede trench coat and wide-brimmed hat. Stevie Nicks wasn’t at the event, but Colbie was filling her role perfectly.

Colbie Caillat wasn’t at Rolling Stone’s brunch by herself — she brought her band, Gone West! The foursome looked like they were having a blast as they sat and brunched together. Colbie in particular loved Grace’s set.

This is just a simple pic of Colbie Caillat and Gone West at the Rolling Stone event, but it legitimately looks like it could be an album cover.

“The Flash” star Violett Beane rocked the white carpet in the most unique outfit; a tartan jumpsuit with a draped sash. Paired with black, heeled booties, it was a total win. Jesse Quick would be proud!

Chef Carla Hall brought her A-game to the Women Shaping The Future white carpet, rocking her signature fun, colored glasses and a mint, polka-dot dress.
