‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ premiered on Fox on Jan. 19, 2020, and quickly became an instant hit. The series, which is a spinoff of ‘9-1-1’, stars Rob Lowe, Ronen Rubinstein, and Liv Tyler. The show follows a New York firefighter (Lowe) who relocates to Austin, Texas with his son (Rubenstein), where they end up working to save people’s lives while trying to solve their own personal problems. In season one alone, Ronen’s character TK suffered a nearly fatal drug overdose, as well as a gunshot wound to the chest. His fate was revealed in the season finale, which aired on March 9, 2020. Ronen Rubinstein Talks About ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’
Ronen Rubinstein told us that Carlos’ visit to TK in the hospital — during the March 2 episode — was a “beautiful scene”, but he also elicited some fear in us when revealing what could be coming next for the show’s most popular couple. ‘I think if TK lives, it might only complicate things even more for them. I think it might have TK maybe questioning, really, what’s going on in his life because this is now the second incident that’s happened to him this season involving a near-death situation. And again, everything is still pretty fresh between them.’

Ronen Rubinstein continued, ‘We don’t know how or if TK’s going to wake up. And if he does wake up, we don’t know if he’s going to be fully functioning.’ Yikes!
