Sandro Cavazza
Born and raised just outside of the Swedish town of Stockholm, Sandro Cavazza’s early upbringing was practically flowing with music. Early musical influences included pop-rock countryman Eagle Eye Cherry and Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well Queen. The singer formed a band at school with other international students—a project that eventually won him and his peers a Grammy Amplifier award and resulted in a tour with R&B artist Allen Stone: “That was my initial foot into the industry,” he says. Flash forward to 2019, and the singer has a major label deal under his belt, and a slew of hit singles. Sandro announced his signing to Island Records earlier this year, and was thrilled to have “the support of a great label.” The singer is known for his vocals on popular tracks such as Avicii’s “Without You” or Kygo’s “Happy Now,” but in 2019 — it’s his time to shine as a solo artist.
