Sasha Pieterse, born on February 17, 1996, in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, is an American actress, singer and songwriter. She is known for her role as Alison DiLaurentis in the Freeform series Pretty Little Liars, in which she was cast in 2009. She starred on the show until the it ended in 2017. Sasha reprised her role as Alison, in the spin-off series titled Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists on Freeform in 2019. The show was cancelled after its initial 10-episode run. Sasha also starred in a supporting role as Amy Loubalu in the 2011 Disney Channel film Geek Charming. In 2013, she starred in the teen comedy film G.B.F. In 2017, Sasha participated in the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars and finished in 10th place. Sasha got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Hudson Sheaffer in December 2015. They wed in a castle in Ireland in 2018. On May 27, 2020, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together, due in October 2020.
