‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’, starring Simu Liu, is the origin story of Shang-Chi, who has to confront the past he thought he left behind. Simu Liu stars as the dynamic Shang-Chi and makes history as Marvel’s first Asian superhero. The cast also includes Awkwafina as Katy, Meng’er Zhang as Xu Xialing, Tony Leung as Xu Wenwu, Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery, Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist, and Michelle Yeoh as Ying Nan. The film is part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are no official plans regarding what’s next for Shang-Chi, but it’s clear from the post-credits scenes that we haven’t seen the last of the character.
