Shayanna Jenkins
The world started seeing Shayanna Jenkins’ face all over the television screen when the infamous documentary of her longtime partner was released. In case you didn’t already know, her partner (and father to her 7-year-old daughter Avielle Janelle Hernandez) was Aaron Hernandez, an American football tight end for the New England Patriots.
The docu series premiered on Netflix on January 15, 2020, and was called Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez. The series analyzed everything from the football player’s murder case (in which he was convicted of killing Odin Lloyd) and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (in which he was believed to have suffered from), all the way to his family life and sexuality (in which he potentially identified as gay/bisexual).
The athlete was found dead (suicide by hanging) in his prison cell after being acquitted of the double homicide.
