This is just too sad! Not only was Liam completely unprepared for a breakup, but he was prepared for forever with Sophia! After all, Liam has been with Sophia since August 2013, so they’ve certainly been through a lot together. Despite briefly splitting in May 2014 and joking about a breakup this past May, things were seemingly going just fine. It’s hard to blame Liam for being heartbroken when he never even saw this coming!

The original breakup report from MailOnline didn’t mention anything about who decided to end things, but their source did mention that Liam was definitely upset. “Liam is incredibly sad, but is going to keep busy,” a source told the outlet. “He really hopes that everybody will respect both his and Sophia’s privacy and stop speculating.”
Considering what our insider had to say, there doesn’t seem to be much to speculate anymore. But we can’t help thinking that if he was incredibly sad after the breakup, he probably wasn’t the one to do it. If Sophia really did dump him out of the blue, we can only hope Liam gets some clarity to help mend his broken heart!
