Even Cookie needs a vacation, so when Taraji took a few weeks off from shooting her hit television show, she hit up Miami to catch some rays, reports E! News. But she wasn’t alone, as she was spotted walking hand-in-hand with Kelvin Hayden. Talk about arm candy! Taraji and the 32-year-old NFL player haven’t shared any love on any of their social media accounts, so perhaps they’re keeping it on the down-low until the New Year? Kelvin, currently a free agent, is a football cornerback who formerly played for the Indianapolis Colts, the Atlanta Falcons and the Chicago Bears. In fact, while with the Colts, he won the Super Bowl in 2007. So he’s a buff superstar who is also a champion-level player — only the best for Taraji!
He’s also a good guy, as E! News reports Kelvin is a man who loves and respects his mother. He also is into keeping fit and healthy, lifting weights and taking care of his kids. Kelvin might just be the right match for Taraji, as she told Harper’s Bazaar that when looking for a potential boyfriend, she wants a guy who “is funny, has personality…[and] he needs to be confident in who he is, confident to let me be who I am.” Is it possible Taraji finally found her dream man?
Taraji’s year has been full of love and fun. Though there were rumors of a feud with her Empire co-star, Terrence Howard, they both squashed all that nonsense with a hilarious video. They even ended it with a sweet kiss! If that wasn’t enough, the two of them even reunited on the White Hot Holidays special to spoof Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Lucious and Cookie taking shots at Kimye? Gasp! While it was all in good fun, could this joke set up a Kanye and Kim appearance on the next season? Fingers crossed!
