‘Teen Spirit’ stars the one and only Elle Fanning. She plays Violet, a shy teenager who dreams of escaping her small town and pursuing her passion to sing. With the help of an unlikely mentor, she enters a local singing competition that will test her integrity, talent and ambition. The movie features performances of and music written by Robyn, Ellie Goulding, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Tegan & Sara, Jack Antonoff, Carly Rae Jepsen, Annie Lennox, Orbital, Alice DeeJay, The Undertones, Major Lazer, Grimes, Whigfield, and Sigrid. Elle does all of her own singing in the movie, which is out April 12. She’s got an incredible voice. Elle told HollywoodLife that ‘Teen Spirit’ has ‘opened a door’ for a possible music career in the future.
