‘The Bachelor’ season 25 will premiere Jan. 4 on ABC. Matt James is your new Bachelor, and he’s also making history as the franchise’s first Black bachelor. This season, 32 women will be vying for Matt’s heart. Chris Harrison is back as the host. The entire season was filmed at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. At the end of night one, 24 lucky bachelorettes remain to toast the Bachelor and join him on the romantic adventure of a lifetime! There will be plenty of memorable moments during the premiere. One contestant arrives in a chauffeur-driven gold Bentley, only to be upstaged by another being carried in on a throne-like Cleopatra, wearing a gold crown. Matt is a 28-year-old real estate broker, entrepreneur, and community organization founder. He went to Wake Forest University and majored in economics. He played wide receiver for the football team.
