The caped crusader is back again with ‘The Batman’, a Robert Pattinson-fronted version of the Dark Knight. The film, set for release on Mar. 4, was directed by Matt Reeves, and strikes a dark tone. The story follows Bruce Wayne as he ventures into Gotham City’s underworld when a sadistic killer leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. The film also stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell.
Filming on ‘The Batman’ started in Jan. 2020 under the production name ‘Vengence’ but was forced to pause in mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic. Filming resumed in Sep. 2020 and went on and off until wrapping March 13, 2021. After a long wait, fans of Batman are finally getting their movie.
