The first episode of ‘Star Wars’ spinoff ‘The Mandalorian’ dropped Nov. 12 on Disney+. The official synopsis for the highly-anticipated series says that after the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. ‘The Mandalorian’ is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. The series is Lucasfilm’s first-ever live-action series. ‘The Mandalorian’ stars Pedro Pascal as the titular Mandalorian. Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Bill Burr, Omid Abtahi, Taika Waititi, Ming-Na Wen, and Werner Herzog also star in the series.
