‘The Real World’ Cast
‘The Real World’ was a game-changing series in the ’90s and now it’s ready for a comeback. The reimagining of the iconic reality show, which aired from 1992 to 2017, premiered in June 2019. According to the show’s synopsis, ‘MTV’s The Real World’ comes ‘packed with plenty of laughter, tears, hard conversations, and powerful moments as we see a mix of unique personalities grappling with real topics like liberal activism, conservative values, sexual orientation, and virginity as the diverse group of roommates figure out how to live under the same roof.’ The cast of the reboot includes 7 total strangers: Dondre, Arely, Justin, Tovah, Meagan, Yasmin, and Clint. Fans had the opportunity to vote one cast member into the house and they chose Clint. The show’s new home is Facebook Watch. Yasmin Of ‘The Real World’
Yasmin, 27, is an openly pansexual feminist who believes her calling in life is to express herself. Yasmin models and supports body positivity organizations, but after her own brush with the law, she works as an art teacher in a youth detention center hoping to help others.
Clint Of ‘The Real World’
Clint, 28, is a small-town guy from Michigan. With good looks and over 130K followers on Instagram, he has no problem getting attention wherever he goes. He grew up in a strict conservative household that rarely allowed Clint to explore life beyond the family farm. With ‘The Real World,’ he hopes to explore life a little bit more.
Meagan Of ‘The Real World’
Meagan, 23, is from Louisiana and credits God and her deep-rooted Catholic faith as her pillars of strength, but still struggles with issues of self-confidence and anxiety. She is still a virgin and believes that waiting until marriage is for the best.
Tovah Of ‘The Real World’
After suffering severe trauma in her teen years, Tovah, 26, keeps her guard up and uses humor to protect herself. She’s passionate about foster children and has worked as a caseworker for Child Protective Services and dreams of one day opening her own foster home.
Dondre Of ‘The Real World’
Dondre, 25, is a staunch, conservative Texan who is confident in expressing himself and his political views. As a pansexual person, Dondre is on a journey of coming out and revealing his sexual orientation to his friends and family. He is a Trump supporter and an advocate for the second amendment, even after losing a brother to gun violence.
Arely Of ‘The Real World’
Arley is the youngest housemate at 21 and is also a single mother to a 4-year-old son. As a toddler, Arely came to America from Mexico with her parents. She always imagined a life as a registered nurse, but found she was unable to take her nursing exam due to her status as a DREAMer.
Justin Of ‘The Real World’
Justin, 26, is pursuing a master’s degree in African American Studies from Georgia State University. But his future wasn’t always so clear to him. It wasn’t until he was racially profiled by police that he decided to dedicate his life to uplifting the Black community.
