Tom Holland (born Thomas Holland on June 1, 1996 in Kingston upon Thames, England) is a British actor and dancer. He was born to a photographer mother and an author/comedian father. He has three younger brothers, two of whom are twins. He began performing as a dancer, before moving on to acting as well. On June 23, 2015, it was announced that Tom had officially been named the new Spider-Man in the Marvel franchise.
Best Known For:
Tom is best known for playing the title role in Billy Elliot the Musical. However, following the news of his casting as Spider-Man, his profile is guaranteed to grow far beyond that.
Personal Life:
In his younger years, Tom attended Domhead, a Roman Catholic school. When he got older, he attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. He is of Irish descent through his father’s side.
