While Bey was friends with Aaliyah before she passed, the “Rock the Boat” singer was also rumored to have been romantically involved with Jay.
While she was dating rapper Damon Dash when she passed, she reportedly was on and off with Jay Z, and when she started dating Damon, it ended Jay and Damon’s friendship. Rumors have ofter swirled that Jay was seeing Aaliyah when he met Beyonce, although this has never been confirmed.
It’s so nice to see how mature Beyonce is able to be. Plus, we know that she was close with Aaliyah as well.
