She comes from a large, religious family
Shannon is the second of six children, and, like Luke, grew up Catholic. She attended a Catholic all-girls college preparatory in Cincinnati, called Saint Ursula Academy; she graduated in 2010.
She’s studying medicine in grad school
Shannon attended the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Minor of Chemistry, Biology/Biological Sciences, General. She’s currently in grad school working toward her Masters degree, in order to become either a surgeon or physician’s assistant. Smart cookie!
She’s addicted to social media, just like all of us
She’s a woman in her twenties; of course Shannon loves social media! Though she tends to keep things as private as Luke does, her Facebook and Twitter pages feature her NFL star beau in her profile pictures!
She’s an avid blogger
Though Shannon tends to keep her social media accounts under wraps, she has a blog that she updates religiously! The medical student writes about her career goals, aspirations, everyday life, and just anything that comes to mind!
She wants to be a leader
Of course, anybody who’s dreaming about being a doctor has high ambitions, but Shannon’s aren’t limited to her career. On her blog, she writes about what she wants to be the most: a good doctor, student, person, and above all, example to others. We can see why Luke loves her!
